O, i started that as my new year's resolution. I bring brown bag lunches to work everyday now. Normally, i bring a sandwich with salmon and veg or egg and mayo or chicken salad. A juice and a fruit.

This is my usual Sunday project. I make things like a large lasagne, a big pot of soup, anything that I like and is healthy, and the freeze individual portions for lunch (sandwiches make me want to gag!!). This works well to have on hand for those days when you are running ragged and don't have time/don't feel like cooking supper too. Knowing you have something good to heat up cuts down on the temptation to get greasy take out.
You can also do a food exchange with friends where you all make a different dish to be cut into individual protions and swap a portion with each. Then you have variety, though you must rely on the cooking skills of others, so only do this with people you know well.
Keep a bowl of fruit on your desk or even invest in a mini fridge for your office (if you have the space) and stock it with low fat/sugar yougurt, milk and fruit. It does take a bit of planning to eat like this but is well worth the effort! Good luck!

Sandwiches are good..make sure they are healthy though...like adding lettuce and tomato adds more flavor, and is nutritional. Celery sticks and ranch dressing, cucumbers, salads, etc are great, and easy. Instead of soda, bring apple juice or water (i personally dont like bringing water everyday) You could also bring some kind of flavored water, it will give it more taste. Occasionally add in a snack, like a cookie or something. But try not to do that everyday, maybe once every week or 2...eating healthier is definaltly a great choice!! hope everything goes well!

i could kill for a reliable liverwurst and onion sandwich appropriate now. yet to answer your question. i've got faith that the meals it is offered interior the super Markets right this moment are over processed and that the organic forces have been some time past bread out of todays nutrition grant. that's the addivities that are spoiling. I stay in Honduras, eggs, cheeses at the instant are not refregated and are offered particularly from open markets interior the streets. My housekeeper chefs interior the morning and the various meals are skipped over coated on the range lots of the day. It gets very heat here and that i've got yet to get unwell from any of this nutrition. All of our meat is community butchered and sparkling or placed into the freezer, yet not saved for long classes of time. never brown bagged it to college the two 1944/1960

hey, get some real chedder frm a deli and cut into cubes, and cut some peeled carrots into strips. eat together, it is really really nice and raw veg is really good for you, this is obviously a snack not a meal but wen u eat health its on your mind so its good to have snacks so u still feel like u r enjoying your food and getting enuf. potato salad made with new potatos hard boiled eggs, and low fat mayo, eat with sandwich, again it'll feel more satisfying if u r havin more than just a sandwich and easier to stay on the path. make sum pasta with a tomato pasta sauce, not a bolenase (i have no idea how 2 spell that soz) but one u can buy that is packed with veg and dont need to add anything too, take the pasta with a good hard cheese grated over the top and a fresh bread roll with it, if you get plastic cutlery from cafes and hold onto it and wash it up with yor lunch containers it'll last for months and months, and you wont get done for having a concealed blade if you get pulled over by the filth. i know it sounds daft but i got fined a grand for having a pair of kids plastic scissors with the little metal blades on em, in a sewing kit in the boot, the cop said i had 2 concealed blades! so take plastic cutlery. if you are taking sandwiches with tomato or lettuce etc take the buttered bread or roll, or take a bit of butter in cling film and buy a fresh hot roll frm the bakery in da morn :) but take the salad stuf in a separate plastic container (those ones you get chinese takeout in are great they also last months and months if u wash em up in not to hot water as they warp) so the bread dont go soggy, i know it sounds like bear effort but it takes all on 20 seconds to put the salad in a container instead of the bread and the sandwich will be enjoyable, as soon as healthy eating becomes a chore you will start to lust aftr your regular diet so you have to make the effort to make the food enjoyable. good luck

You could do yourself a brown pasta salad with tuna, lettuce and sweetcorn or a salad with tomatoes, lettuce, prawns, cucumber etc. For sandwiches try a meat, if you eat it, like turkey or chicken with some salad or even something like mango. You could fill a wrap with something else as well. Take a piece of fruit, dried fruit or nuts to add some more variety and counting towards your daily fruit RDA. For a drink go for water or juice. For veg try carrots or cherry tomatoes.

Brown bags would be mainly fiber/cellulose. I suggest more juices, fruits, protein and some carbs. Your body can use the other stuff better.

For one if you make sandwiches use whole wheat bread, and lean meats, turkey and chicken are good choices. Also fruit, apples, bananas, and veggies, carrot sticks, celery.
