Did you ask a similar question when Bill Clinton was bombing the Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina? "Why doesn't Chelsea Clinton join the military and go to war!"??
Did you ask a similar question when JFK and LBJ got us into Vietnam? "Why doesn't Kennedy's and Johnson's children and nieces and nephews join and go to Nam!"??
Did you ask those questions then?
I didn't think so.

As former military, you know that our service is voluntary.
My questions to you is this:
Why aren't you demanding that liberal politicians strap on and head over? Why only Bush's family, especially considering Bush is a veteran? In case you've forgotten, Bush received nearly unanimous support for the invasion of Iraq. Your irrationality and bias are showing!
And:
Why would any man want women to do the fighting?
(My guess is that, like most liberals, you make false claims in order to get credibility. At most, you flunked out of your school and left the military as an "other than honorable" and you've been bitter about it ever since. Otherwise you would have a better understanding of your part as a whole.)

Because it's not their thing? The same reason that most of the country doesn't sign up for the military.
Why does everyone ask that same stupid question?
At least you didn't ask why Bush didn't *send* his daughters, because that is an even more stupid question.
We do a great deal of trade across the Canadian border and you do great beer and hockey. Awesome.
When you beef up your military a little, then we'll look harder at questions involving defense that come from canucks. Otherwise, keep that beer flowing.

Maybe they don't want a job in the military. How do you even know that they support the war? Every single person serving in Iraq either joined the military after we invaded Iraq or they were in the military and decided to remain in the military.

This question has been asked more times than I care to count. It's getting a little old.
They won't, because they don't want to. And as long as our military is VOLUNTARY, they shouldn't have to.
Besides, even if a person joins the military, it isn't a certainty that they'll be sent to Iraq anyway. It depends on where they're stationed, what their MOS is, and what kind of unit they're with.

I agree that they should lead by example and not just encourage the children of other people to join but encourage their own children to serve. You make a good point.
Vietnam did have congressmen and their children serving. Johnson's daughters didn't because the women serving had nurses training and did not go into combat like today. But in 2006 Bushes' daughters should be expected to serve.

Is there anything that you support or are against? If you are against global warning then I guess you do not drive a car. If you are against starvation in Africa, then I guess you spend most of your time in Africa fighting starvation. We have plenty of brave and honorable men and women in our armed forces. We are not stretched too thin. We do not need the help. If something bad happens in the world we can always count on Canada.

And apparently, between the Bush daughters has developed sense and to maintain on with ingesting rules.
