I don't believe in god.
Before science was studied, people wanted answers to their questions. (why are we here, where did we come from, where do we go after death, ect) It also helped with moral behaviors (like the 10 commandments). So, that's how/why religion was born.
No offense to anyone, just my opinion.

God has been calling you for a long time, you just wont answer Him. He has spoken much and done much to get your attention, but you keep ignoring Him because He doesn't do it the way you want Him to. He has stretched out a loving hand to a stubborn and disobedient people for quite some time, and the more He loves, the less He is loved. He has repeatedly told you that He doesn't want you to continue on the path you have chosen, because He knows the pain that it will cause you. But you continue to ignore. What more can He do? Your need for a Savior is the most pressing issue, He will not likely speak anything to you that doesn't tend to this end. This is the foundational issue for all men and the starting point of a relationship with God.

Maybe you are not worthy to hear Him.
And, BTW you show faulty logic... You are complaining that He never sends manna form heaven anymore--- that surely implies that you believe He did once send manna from heaven. Ergo: God exists and interacts with the world ~sometimes~just not that YOU have seen (or heard)
If you were a little sincere, you might experience far more than you can right now.

Your question really isn't a great one. What is your faith and belief system? Why do you think God should talk to you? Trusting and believing in God is not as easy as it sounds. God takes his own time - not our time - to answer our questions and problems.
I do have to mention that you are wrong about emotions. Emotions are not necessarily dependable. They can be verified as to WHY you are feeling something. Emotions can mislead. Why do you think so many people are gettinf divorced? Love is an emotion. Love can be blind. Love can actually be infatuation, or lust, or obsession. Hate can even hide the real emotion of Love.
I would recommend talking to a pastor about this issue, if it bothers you so much.

It will have obviously crossed the mind of any mildly intelligent person. To say people are selfish is perhaps the most understated idea in our society. Each of us believes we 'deserve', moreso than the house fly 'deserves', etc. Our "reality" is about as real as can be related to when watching a small child. Personally, I don't think the universe revolved around homo sapiens as any religion would have you believe. You've got much harder questions to ask yourself than, "is there a God?" before you come up with your own believed answer, in my opinion.

Stefan

No supreme being or ruler. Every civilization since the beginning of time has believed in some kind of supreme being or God.
Perhaps God does communicate to us, we don't listen. We live in a "I want proof society, and want it now".
Emotions can mislead, so can your thoughts. Maybe not you but they have me.
God sending manna? My guess is that is teaching us a lesson that we ought to take care of ourselves and our fellow man.

Have you been still enough to hear that quiet voice?
And God sends manna from heaven for His children everyday.

Probably because you don't have thousands of followers who are willing to give you large sums of money based solely on your word... Wait a minute, that would be a nice racket now, wouldn't it?
Anyway, apparently God it isn't all that accurate, just ask Pat "Robert's son" Robertson (see 1st link)
or Sylvia "not Dan" Brown (2nd link)
or Father "second" Wingate (3rd link)
or Joe "the flood" Noah (4th link)
or Ken "Alan" Parsons (5th link)
or... (you get the idea)
All of these people claim predictions based on conversations with God and/or divine inspiration.
It is sad that so many alter their lives (and resources) for these charlatans.

Mana was Just for Israel and not for YOU!
God is ALWAYS SPEAKING = and = You are Not Listening!
(Acts 17:30-31) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
(Acts 17:31) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
See what I MEAN, You are Not Listening!
Thanks, RR

He gave us a collection of letters compiled into the one book, the bible. This is how he corresponds to us, and all the answers are there. That is why he has preserved his words over thousands of years, that we can know how to consult him and we can make right decisions.
Manna from heaven during the time of the exodus from Egypt was food for those Israelites who were in the wilderness before they came into the promised land.

Would you speak to someone who didn't listen and take your advice?
Even after God sent manna from heaven some still didn't believe.
