Evolution is science - Creation is of God - NOT science. If people wouldn't be so blind and ignorant, all they'd have to do is look around and see all that God has created: humankind, animals, plants, mountains, oceans, etc. How blind can people be, not seeing that God has already given us PLENTY of proof of His creation and His eternal existence! Open the bible and read the book of Genesis! That's the REAL proof and truth of how things came about - God - period!

There is no such thing as a scientific fact of Creation. That doesn't mean that Creation isn't a fact, but it is certainly not a scientific fact. Creation necessitates a Creator. That Creator, by definition, must lie outside the realm of time, space, matter and energy, and is therefore supernatural, or at least non-natural. Science by definition is the study of the natural universe - time, space, matter and energy - in natural terms. Nothing supernatural falls within the purview of science. Therefore no fact or opinion about a supernatural Creator or anything He is purpoted to have done can be scientific. This of course does not mean that the fact of a Creator must be in conflict with scientific facts. Truth cannot be in conflict with truth.

As usual, you present no actual evidence of this "fact" because there isn't any. You may even put up some evidence of "errors" with evolution (probably the same illogical deductions that have been presented on this site multiple times before), but that would only prove that you have no clue what makes a scientific theory viable. Read some actual, scientific books on the topic, then start a debate.

Science is not a Religion.
Evolution is a process that explains how life has adapted due to its environment. It does not explain or attempt to explain the intitiation or origin of life on this planet or the universe.
What christians and other Religions don't like is that this theory conflicts with their beliefs. What non-religious people like is that it does so they use it as a vehicle for their arguments.
As Scientists we observe phenomena, theorise and test our theories then we use the knowledge to improve our understanding and ability to manipulate our world. It is a tool not a theology.
Evolution is very well supported which is why it is included in school crricula across the world. It is a logical and unbiased postulate and is therefore a suitable subject matter for all people regardless of their faith.
The church has had to adapt to the fact the earth is not flat and the heavens are not in the skies this is just a new challenge to overcome.

SCIENTIFIC FACT? Heh. You don't know what either of those words means, do you? The only reason I have to doubt evolution is that natural selection probably should have done something about people who think like you.
Earl D brings up an excellent point...albeit, by accident. As do those who make that same argument. Most of the people who do not believe evolution is possible have a VERY poor understanding of how it works. If you feel you can equate it to "throwing a bunch of parts together" and accidentally creating something specific, don't try to argue, you don't understand, accept your ignorance.

Hmm, if you beleive that I have the deeds to the Brooklyn Bridge to sell you.
Why are you denying the Scientific Fact that jumping out the window at a great height will cause you to fly? It's just a theory that you'll die after all, there is no "evidence" you won't go SPLAT. Personally though I tend to believe in the one that makes the most sense.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It's a very compelling one. As somebody who studies DNA, the fact that we are 98.4 percent identical at the DNA level to a chimpanzee, it's pretty hard to ignore the fact that when I am studying a particular gene, I can go to the mouse and find it's the similar gene, and it's 90 percent the same. It's certainly compatible with the theory of evolution, although it will always be a theory that we cannot actually prove. I'm a theistic evolutionist. I take the view that God, in His wisdom, used evolution as His creative scheme. I don't see why that's such a bad idea. That's pretty amazingly creative on His part. And what is wrong with that as a way of putting together in a synthetic way the view of God who is interested in creating a group of individuals that He can have fellowship with -- us? Why is evolution not an appropriate way to get to that goal? I don't see a problem with that."

The scientific fact of creation means nothing more than "things exist". There is no scientific evidence to indicate that there was a Creator-God known as Yahweh. This deviates from science. For all you know, Brahman created everything.
And how do you know that the Creator did not choose evolutionary processes as his method??

*covers my face for a brief moment* Creation is not a science. I am a Christian, and I am of the belief that Creationism was the method used, which is vaguely described in the Bible. You can believe anything you want. Evolutionism is a thoery. Creationism is a theory. Neither of these theories have been claimed as fact yet. It is all a matter of what you have a as a belief system.

There are no "evolutionists". The word is "scientist". Creation science is an oxymoron.
