I like this guy, G and he says that he likes me too. I have know that he likes me for about two weeks and we have talked about it and stuff, I really like him and want to date him but I know that he hasn't had many relationships before (we are only in highschool) and so I don't want to pressure him. He said that a few people have asked him if he is gonna ask me out, G said that he wants to he just wants to take things slow. I thought that he really liked me but now I am not so sure, is he still intrested or not? and how slow is too slow? sorry this is the first time I have ever had this problem.

I think that's very noble of him, since you're in high school. Please don't rush yourself with anything - ppl are gonna give you their opinions (Hurry with your education, hurry and get a job, hurry and settle down) and they shouldn't, you have your whole life ahead of you. I guess he just doesn't want to be rushed into sex, or rushed into commitment levels (such as marriage as soon as you're 18 or something) or rushed into "serious dating" - maybe he just wants to see you every Fri. night, if you guys have homework and other commitments, those might have to come first. Or maybe he is afraid of the clingy stalker type "phone call every other minute" or something you know? :) You'd have to ask him, cuz he's the only one who knows for sure what he means by slow. HTH!

If he says that he likes you too, that definitely means he is interested. If he hasn't been in a relationship or such then he may not know what to do/how to act/how to feel. Some of these sound silly but it's true. He wants to take things slow because he is totally new to this scene and the last thing either of you two want to do is hurt each other. Good Luck!

It doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't like you. He just wants to take any realationship that might form slow. That is totally normal for guys. They don't like when girls are really obsessive so maybe this is his way of just letting you know not to be too obsessive. Let him have his space and don't call a hundred times a day. The first thought is that he is simply keeping his options open; he doesn't want to be tied to one person. But, it's not fair to jump to that conclusion not knowing the guy. It is possible that he sincerely doesn't want to get into anything heavy. Perhaps he is mature enough to recognize that schoolwork and extra-curricular activites are important, and jumping into a relationship could be a distraction. Another option is that he is just plain nervous or shy.
BTW, you shouldn't have to apologize for asking a question: "Sorry, this is the first time I have ever had this problem."

He might have been hurt before by going too fast, having sex, and then just everything was messed up. Going slow is much better than saying no oh yea oh yea!

It might just means he wants to take it slow. Dont read into it too much, it will just drive you nuts. Have fun and be yourself around him. If hes cool, he will date you.

HE PROBABLY LIKES YOU AS A FRIEND. If I were you I would ask him what he is waiting for and ask him what he means by slow. Tell him that you are not going to wait for him all of your life.

well, tell him that u respect that he wants to take things slow but u feel like he's losing interest, and u cant wait forever, so u have to make a choice, wait or leave
