There is a great book called Fit for Life that I highly recommend. I was a fitness trainer for eight years and left the business about ten years ago. I gained a great deal of weight. The only diet that I have seen dramatic results quickly is the Fit for Life diet. What it recommends is having a glass of ward water with lemon juice first thing in the morning as this will assist your stomach with the production of gastric juices. About half an hour later you have fruit, and nothing but. Fruit is broken down very quickly and then your body is able to concentrate on using any excess fat as energy until lunchtime. For lunch you could eat a large salad with meat or a vegetable sandwich. The key to this eating plan is that you do not mix starchy carbs (bread, rice, potatoes, etc.) with protein (meat, fish, milk, etc.) I personally lost over 30lbs in three months on this diet. Many of my friends have lost a great deal of weight on it as well. It is a very easy diet to follow as it does not restrict your calorie intake. You eat what you need to, you just combine it differently. Honestly, I want you to see results and I know this will work! I have been there and felt the frustration of diet after diet. Consider trying something different. It worked for me beyond my hopes. In any event, good luck and best wishes for the new year.

The trick is to eat more good food, and less junk. That means more fruits and vegetables, and some grains, and very little of other things. If you can arrange your last meal to be 5 hours before you go to bed, your stomach will be empty, and you will be loosing weight all night while you sleep. Do not start the day with a minuscule snack, for that will turn your liver around, from mobilizing energy, to storing it, then the snack will be gone and your energy will fall (like a rock) Eat a good meal when you break fast. Do it whenever it is most convenient for you, but don't eat just for habit.

If you are going to be dieting Healtfully, and want to see some real results, you need to make shure that you eat Vegtables at EVERY MEAL! and other than that, no soda, no juice, HIGH PROTIEN (RedMeat, Poultry, Fish) ONLY WHOLE GRAIN Food, LOTTSS OF WATERRRRR, Salad (no dressing its bad for you!), 2 servings of fruits a day (apples are the best), Granola is very good for you, so is Low fat Yogurt! i hope this helped! it works trust me!

Frozen fish fillets can be good and low in calories if they are the unbreaded ones. Salmon can be good. Canned soup is good too.
