I've done this quite a lot you can there are various prgrammes available DVD shrink and the like - the trick is to decide what format to end up with - I usualy do an Mpeg 1 as this plays from the cd on the vast majority of PC's and domestic dvd players - you can squash a two hour film onto a cd with ease. DivX movies are usualy small enough to put on a CD but you need the correct software to play them and this doesn't inslude domestic DVD players

There are different levels of quality for video. DVD quality is the highest. to reduce the size you need to convert the file to another file type. mp4 or wma or wav files for example. There are different ways to continue to reduce the size of the files. this also depends on what type of machine you are going to play them. Smaller screens require lower quality files.

Try DVD Shrink, but your beating a dead horse. At lease 1 day continious encoding, and also, the quality would be crap.

try using dvd shrink or like something like clone cd

70 GB??? convert it into another format and attempt... like mp4 or some thing... use format production unit... that would help... convert the document first then use it to write down it on the DVD....

Use software to convert it from mpg4 to mpg2 ( Video CD or SVCD).
