First of all, many cultures and societies around the world have practiced human sacrifice. Barbarism have always existed and it was never the monopoly of "Hispanic Countries". Take the Bible for example, Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son to his god. And as far as I know, they were not Hispanic.

Second, the "Hispanic countries" you referred to, were not Hispanic when human sacrifice was practiced. Remember, America was invaded by the conquistadors. Review your history.

Third, human sacrifice is not a practice anymore in Hispanoamerica.

Finally, human sacrifice is still practiced in some countries. But nowadays it's called "Martyrdom" or "Holy War" or simply "War".

It looks like you are looking for an excuse to label Hispanics are "barbarians" of sorts....Yes it was Aztecs, who resided in what is now Mexico (not all of Central and South America), who practiced human sacrifice. The Spanairds conqured the Aztecs and were forbidden to practice their traditional beliefs. Human sacrifice was a thing of the past, much of Mexico's population is Catholic.

The irony is although many Europeons at the time thought the people they encountered were "savages", yet they were they ones who murdered, pillaged, and enslaved other people. Before their fall, the Aztecs built an advanced civilization with cities comparable to the largest Eureopean cities.

Many civilizations down the centuries have practice human sacrifice; it's not just the ones in Central/South America. Read a little bible history, for instance, and you'll see that human sacrifice had to be expressly forbidden to peoples of that period of time.

EVERY ANCIENT CIVILISATION DID!. you are so ignorant omg. the egyptians, the aztecs, the vikings, the anglo saxons, the germanic tribes, the kelts. they all did because they all thought they had to render blood to the gods. and no there is no sacrifices these days peaches. seriously how old are you. you should stop being racist and read a history book once in a while.

Ahh look at the naive little blonde.
She got her very first history lesson ever the other day when she saw apocalypto.

The answer to your question is no and no.
Have you ever heard of Catholocism?
That is another word for the Catholic church.

From what I hear Catholocism and hispanic cultures have something going on with one another - and have for a long time now.

I think what you are confused with is ancient cultures that exist in theory and fiction. But that's okay it's cute to hear you talk.

Have a great day!

I don't know. Why did many white nationalities think it was ok to go into countries and annihilate or enslave entire native cultures? All races have things in their pasts that aren't the most positive. (although judging by your racist remarks, you'll probably think "white people enslaved others because they're better" or something moronic of that nature.)
