You may think this is weird but once a week I put about a tablespoon of table salt on a loofah with my regular body wash & it does wonders. Mix a cup of powerdered milk into your bath water & then do this table salt scrub & your skin will be so soft. You can put the powderered milk in your water every day.

i've got one by Get Fresh that's called Spa Salt Scrub Souffle. It's described as a professional-type scrub for the home. It's salt but leaves behind no greasy feeling as it's in a sort of thickish cream. It rinses away instantly and leaves no greasy residue behind, and I have very soft skin for several days afterwards. I've tried a lot of different kind of scrubs and this is definitely the best ever. Try the lemongrass fragrance (I think they have 4 diffrent kinds) it's amazing. I buy mine off eBay. I used to hate the oily ones too, I tried the Sanctuary as well and the oil got everywhere even in my hair somehow :)

It's not a salt scrub but try Neutrogena's energizing sugar body scrub. I have been using it for several months and it makes my skin feel amazing! And it doesn't leave a greasy feel. I would think that it would work similar to a salt scrub.

Try using olive oil (its super good for your skin) and sea salt or table rock salt mixed together. This makes an excellent scrub and its cheap.
Then after applying that, rinse it off with a little soap. The soap neutralises the greasy feel and leaves you with soft skin. xx

My experience with salt body scrubs is that you're going to have that oily feel right after you use it. That's what it's made to do. The oil soaks into your skin to moisturize your skin (because grinding salt against your skin take moisture out). But my favorite salt scrub is from Bath and Body Works.

there's an excellent body scrub that leaves absolutely no greasy feeling. the name of the product is "Totally Juicy" they make a great scrub out of grapefruit . You can find this product at drugstore.com I have been using this for several years because I did not like the oily feel of the other scrubs.
the other big benefit is it's very inexpensive. It costs about $3.50 for a large tube.

Lush do a great selection of body buffers. The best is the 'Aqua Mirabilis' as it doesn't leave behind a residue of oil afterwards. They make it with sandalwood and rose perfumes to soften your skin, cocoa butter and apricot kernel oil to moisturise it, plus natural ground almonds to scrub you even softer.

The grease factor can be terribly annoying. I find that when I make my own, and use Olive oil instead of baby oil, it's moisturizing but not terribly greasy.

I just use a Body Buf-Puf and a fragrance free cleanser for sensitive skin to scrub and exfoliate. I've been using the Buf-Puf products for almost 25 years, and often get complimented on my skin and looking younger than my age.
