Well, you can get scholarships through sports and through academic classes but there are also other ways to get scholarships. I suggest you put up an account in fastweb.com. It's a great website for scholarships and searching universities.

That's great that you're thinking about college already! You need to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and be involved in lots of activities. If you're into things like sports, science, art or music, work very hard and see if you can win some awards or honors. Join some clubs or organizations and take on a position of leadership. Leadership and community service are extremely important in obtaining college scholarships. I hope that helps a little! Good luck!

You can go to fastweb.com, educationplanner.com, petersons.com, and many other college sites that offer scholarship searches. There are essay and poetry contests, science fairs, and tons more personalized to your interests.
