Do you take the lemon or the salt before the tequila?
Cause I usually take it like this: salt-tequila-lemon.
But my boyfriend says is the opposite way: lemon-tequila-salt.
Who's right? Or how are you supossed to take it?

I take the right thing, the green one is lime, right? Cause where I live you don't get the yellow lemons...so here we call a lime: lemon

hi sunna!
ok, so you can do it "pioneer style" which is no salt, no chaser... just drink the shot!
but the more traditional style is as easy as 1-2-3: 1-lick the salt, 2-drink the tequila, 3-suck the lime!
re: who's right - you or your boyfriend? my vote is with you... maybe try lime instead of the lemon though ;)

It depends on the person's own taste. However get you a
tequila reposado which is is actually tasty and
requires very little lemon or salt to kill the taste.
Reposado means it has been aged and gotten a better taste to it.
It will have the same alcholic effect without the bad taste.
