Possibly... "Fixing" the dog is the best thing to do regardless. The world does not need anymore unwanted or accidental puppies. You also don't want him running off to find a female (they can smell a female in heat up to SEVEN miles away) and in the process being lost, stolen, or hit by a car.

If neutering the male does not stop him from humping, then just simply train him not to. Every time he tries, give a strong, stern "NO!" and physically remove him from your leg. If that does not work, you may need to get more serious. Use the strong "NO!" with a moderate smack on his face (not to hurt him though). Be consistant and absolutely never let him get away with it.

Yeah. When we had a male dog that was fixed whenever he would get kind of excited or whatever, he would just start to hump anything.
