Yes, you can. When I worked in the industry, I hired someone with a bachelors of math. If you want to do that, though, look more at applied math then theoretical math.

My buddy got a Bach. in math, then got a job with IBM in 1990
still there.

It is better to plan on a plan A and plan B . Almost anything with computer is good.
