Dust mite allergy and Arizona area?

I have a skin allergy to dust mites. I've heard places like Phoenix and Tucson do not contain dust mites do to the relative humidity being so low. I'm willing to move to either one of these cities to get rid of my skin problem because most of the stuff I try does not work at all well. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true about these two cities? Please help, thanks!!!

Yes the humidity level affects dust mites but there are lots of things you can do before moving. The article that I have linked is excellent.

We covered our daughter's matress, boxspring and all pillows in plastic and/or special dustmite proof covers we bought at Walmart. We also removed the carpet from her room, covered her register vent and put an oil filled radiant heat unit in her room. She has Asthma really bad and is allergic to Cats, dust, dust mites, trees and pollen.
