I wasn't. I've only been with my husband- and I am glad that I waited. I had many boyfriends in school and 2 serious relationships but I never let it go that far as to jeopardize my morals and beliefs. Now that I found my husband, I'm glad I didn't waste my virginity on those other guys.

oh, and Joe C- I'm a liberal

It's not so much a case of lose their virginity.
As become human. E.I. accepted in society as an adult.
ALL life on this planet is created to reproduce and die.
A sad fact.
The thing is why do humans make such a big deal out the necessity to reproduce?
Don't forget the the sexual act was frowned upon during the Victorian age as something only done by the lower classes.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:

These lines are part of a poem by Robert Herrick called "To The Virgins, To Make Much of Time". Written in 1648

Certainly not a new 'rush' !!!!!

Because nowadays people are afraid that people will think that they are weird if they haven't had sex. Lots of kids try to grow up too fast because of all the sh*t they see on tv that glamorizes sex, and all other sorts of stuff that really shouldn't be pushed upon kids. Furthermore, lots of girls feel that they have to have sex with their boyfriends, or any guy...i don't know why. I think girls are made to think that if they tell their boyfriend no, then he'll just go do it with someone else. And its the same for boys, i know a lot of guys who get made fun of by their friends if they haven't had sex yet.
I've yet to find someone who hasn't only been interested in sex. But im not just gonna give it up to anyone...so i'd rather not date someone who's pressuring me like that.

Because everybody tells them sex is fab. It can be, but not when you're 14 and don't know what you're doing.
