do you believe it when it says the moon gives its own light? How about the curve we see in the sky being an actual dome that holds back water(the blue sky)? or what about a six-day creation? do you also think the earth is flat or that God moves the stars instead of the earth rotating?

I take the Bible literally. I believe it was literally written by men who didn't understand light or geometry or astronomy. That's okay, they didn't have Galileo yet.

Of course, when they did have Galileo... nevermind.

The bible says the moon gives off it's own illuminance which is just saying it shines from earth perspective.
dunno about the dome you are talking about.
6 days mean 6 eras of creation not literal 6 x 24 hours.
How could there be a day 1 if the Earth was not yet completed?
The Bible uses the word, day, with several meanings of time scales. We do too. You old grandparent probably used the phrase "in my day......" Which meant a time period in their youth not literally one day in their life.

I do not believe that the statements your presenting as actual.

However; I do not recall these all of the phrases to be of Biblical text. With the exception of the six day creation. Which leads me to know that the Bible contain a lot of symbolic and metaphoric language and is written for interpretation on the literal sense of the word.

The earth isn't flat?
Isaiah 40:22 [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
2 peter..3:8 But, beloved, be not * ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Bible is a collection of stories and accounts by hundreds of people living at different periods of time in history. Of course, those writers did not have a very deep grasp of science.
