It works just fine, especially since the chocolate won't melt all over your pan and burn. Serve them with a cinnamon sugar mix and butter (cinnamon and chocolate go GREAT together) and you're set. Mix 1 tsp of cinnamon to 1 cup of sugar. Also use a non stick skillet or make sure you grease it well. Enjoy!! Just one questions - chocolate from a liquor store? Why not a grocery store?

I think it will taste great but maybe you should put only those new hersheys mini kisses. Then after your boyfriend is done you can give him the chocolate m&ms so itll be like dessert except in the morning! Hope you like my advise .

I don't know about the M&Ms they might get messy but the mini chocolate kisses should work fine. Either way it won't taste bad.

Should be good, just don't add too many to the mix..... the color from the m&m shells might bleed a little and you don't want a tie dye looking breakfast.. lol.. i would maybe use the kissables, the candy coating stands up a bit longer than the m&ms. :) good luck! :)

They fare better in cookies. The problem is they might not melt all the way on a griddle. They will if you bake them in an oven. I guess you could try it but if you have left over M and M's make cookies!!!!
on this recipe you can use regular M and M's and they come out great!
1 bag M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
1/4 cup solid vegetable shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons milk
Food coloring
Parchment paper
In a large bowl, mix 1/2 cup of butter, shortening and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; blend into the creamed mixture. Wrap and refrigerate dough 2 to 3 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Working with only half of the dough at a time on a lightly floured surface, roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes using 3-inch cookie cutters. Using a rigid spatula, carefully transfer to ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
To make the vanilla icing: beat 6 tablespoons butter and 4 cups powdered sugar until well blended. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Blend in 3 to 4 tablespoons milk, one tablespoon at a time, until of spreading consistency. Divide the icing evenly into small bowls, one per color. Add food coloring until mixtures are of desired color.
Frost cookies with vanilla icing and decorate with M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Store in a tightly covered container. If stacking cookies, place parchment paper or waxed paper between layers.
Tips: For an easy version, roll out store-bought refrigerated dough and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Bake and cool as directed. Add food coloring to instant frosting; frost cookies. Decorate with M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Store in a tightly covered container.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.

The big chunk of chocolate might either not cook or be really hot, what about breaking them up? Otherwise it should taste pretty good.

I've actually done this and it turned out horrible. The candy coating burned and stunk up the whole house. Smoke was everywhere.

I think that sounds good. Most guys don't care what it is, but if they get food made for them when they wake up they will eat whatever it is!!!
