This dog is left outside 24 - 7 running around in a small kennel with 3 inches of feces. No water No food and even if water was given it would freeze. This dog is about 6 months old while they have an another dog (Lab Mix) that bit his own tongue off last winter... INTERESTING HUH!! I am concerned for the health of these animals but other than the sanitary condition do I have grounds to make a complaint over the dangerous temperatures?

Good answers!!! Yeah I have no problem calling the authorities especially since he barks all day and night. I could care less if that neighbor hates after making complaints!!! Hes @@hole to keep them in those conditions. I am about to run a dam extension cord out there with a couple heating pads. The thing is like the one answer says although its not ideal conditions after a couple phone calls they said its a borderline case. As long as they have shelter with a house, which they do. And as ar as the food and water goes of the animals looks to be in good health than that does not matter. Thast why I asked this question since it was explained to me that it is borderline while I think its Bullshit!!!!

Of course you do, I can't believe you'd even question it. It's against the law to keep animals in a dirty environment even. Watch animal cops on the animal planet, you'll see. Call immediately!
I can't say this enough, we are the only voices animals have!!

Yes. Call your local animal control agency and suggest a welfare check on those dogs. Animal control will need the address of the residence, and if you know the owner's name that would also be useful. Talk to other neighbors and suggest they call as well if they agree with you.
It's not good for the dogs to be left that way. The conditions are very unsanitary; they are obviously not being cared for properly. The owners also run the risk of having their dogs become undersocialized and posing a threat to the public if they ever got out. If I took the call, I'd go out there.

I definitely think you should make a complaint. A pitbull isn't a cold weather dog like a husky or akita. They should be indoors when the temp drops that low. And the temperature isn't even the worst part! No food or water? And water in 10 degree temperature? That is definitely not good for the dog. Something has to be done.

iF the animals have a house or shelter, they are okay and although the situation is less than ideal it is does not warrant a complaint.
Maybe the dogs will freeze and die- good riddance.
it is a shame that anyone would own a dog and treat him like that- but many ppl who own pit bulls are not concerned about caring for their pet and have no business owning a dog in the first place.

Don't wait, call and make a complaint. You can call the Police and they "should" contact the humane society in your area. This is terrible abuse of an animal. These people don't deserve to have a dog.

Yes, report them. I'm surprised you haven't already. That poor dog is gonna freeze to death without proper care. Get on the phone now and report these abusers.

I would keep calling until those poor animals are removed from their circumstance. How sad. My pit is in the house in this horrible storm we are having in Texas. Please keep calling to get those dogs some help.

Call the authorities. How much more do they have to endure before you step up? Poor babies.
