I know in NY you get a temporary license and your official one will be mailed to you. most states are probly the same

In which state? No, in most they mail it to you. That way you have to give them a real address to actually get the id card. Some states will give you a temporary card to use which expires in a few days, but you should have the real one before the temporary expires.

That depends upon the state. In MO you would. In TX and CA you'll get it in the mail in a few weeks. In MA you used to but it's been so long since I lived there that it may have changed by now.

regrettably, no. It take approximately approximately 2 to 3 weeks to get your new identity card in the mail. even with the undeniable fact that, you will use to previous one till you acquire your want card. i'm hoping this infomration is relatively helpful. sturdy success

More than likely no, if you live in California it takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks.

in co. you get a piece of paper,they mail you the real one in about 10 days,maybe longer now, just go

In Ohio they print it while you wait & it's ready in a few minutes. Not sure about other states though.

no you get a recite they mail the real one in about3 or4weeks.but you can use it but the i.d. they sent you is the best one.
