I would say yes. I think more of it has to do with the reasons for being safe. I mean, there are STD's, pregnancy, ect...
After a guy has been with you for a while and you are faithful to each other, the risk of STD's is a lot lower, provided you are both being tested. The pregnancy issue is a another story. Most couples, I'm referring to mid 20's and Married types, don't use condoms anymore. They use birth control, and leave it at that.
I think weather or not you use a condom depends on several factors. Your age, your relationship, your chosen method of birth control, and just plain choice. I would recommend using a condom to anyone that is worried about STD's or Pregnancy for sure, as well as anyone in a new or only sexual relationship.

Yes, I'm sure it is normal. I know that the pleasure is much more immense without a condom for men, as do all sexually active women. But what men have to understand is that condoms are the absolute LEAST abrasive form of contraception (well, next to abstinence), and the number ONE most affective if used correctly, because they block sperm flow completely. About 99.5% affective if used PROPERLY. Add an external spermicide, and you have undefeatable protection. Everyhting that women must do has such a high risk for side effects, and fail MUCH more often than condoms. Birth control pills, rings, IUDs, dissolvable creams... none of them STOP sperm flow. They simply help stop implantation of the egg, or attempt to kill ALL the sperm before reaching the uterus. Their failure rates are much higher. So I know it's a little less pleasurable but you can't beat the protection condoms provide. Should you decide to stop using them, the risk of pregnancy GREATLY increases. So just consider that before you decide to not use them. And please, if you have a girlfriend, don't pressure her to do any of those abrasive methods unless she wants to; there are no side affects to condoms, unless you are just sensative to them.
Good luck doll~

Very normal. I would use a condom until a relationship is mature enough to ask for STD test.

no. and don't let him push you into thinking so. The only way this is normal is if you are married or wanting to have children. Otherwise, just protect yourself. It might be "better" in terms of pleasure to not use one, but you are risking your health.
