Ok i have been with my girl for almost 6 years. She recently came to me and said i am not as happy as i used to be and i think i don't like you anymore. It's also not the same when we hang out as it used to be. Then another day she will talk about how much she loves me and wants to marry me.

Everyone on yahoo says we might have grown apart what does it mean. We talked every day. I was away at college but we still saw each other twice a week. Why did we have to "grow apart" thats not even possible.

It is just like the line "I need to find myself" it means the relationship is over and move on.

Growing apart means that you are not growing together mentally. You are not on the same level, you do not want the same things, you are not into the same things and you do not see the same future. Growing apart and being apart are two different things. Good luck!

I'm not sure what the issue is but you better figure it out if you want to stay together...sit down and talk with her....it takes work to keep a relationship strong...do some new things together....spice it up some.....good luck

It should mean that as you have matured you have become passionate about things that are so unrelated that it becomes difficult for you to hold each others interest; but usually, it means you don't make my heart pitter-patter anymore-which kinda a shame.

Growing apart means that one/both persons found other interest and they are no longer compatible.
