If you enter the military as an RN, you are commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant (Ensign in the Navy) just like anyone that is coming into the military to fill a position that requires a bachelor's degree. Check with a recruiter if you have an advanced RN degree or specialty to see if you qualify for a higher rank.

A doctor normally comes in as a Captain (Lieutenant in the Navy) as it requires more education.

Yes, you can become a nurse or EMT while on active duty. I knew of several that did both while was in the Air Force.

If you have only been out of training a few years, you'll enter as a second lieutenant. More experienced nurses can come in at a higher rank. You can get a nursing degree while in the military, but you'll be an enlisted person until you graduate. Medical corpsmen, can gain many academic credits towards being an EMT in the military. It used to be that some states would let you challenge their exam if you had enough credits, but I don't know if that is still true.

now if u have a 4yr degree and froma accredited unvi then you my process as a officer provided u go though ocs.
once finished depending on your skills and years experience u may come in as high as a major.
yes you can earn a nuring degree and become emt qual while on active duty. i am emt qual and was sent to school while i was in the infantry.

but now i am a army recruiter so good luck

everyone starts at the bottom and works there way to the top officers and enlisted. Lowest officer rank (not warrant officer) is 2nd LT.

without the degree you will go in as enlisted please go and talk to a recruiter tuesday about all of this and see what your options are
