1 Corinthians 8:1-3......Now concerning foods offered to idols: we know we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. If anyone thinks he has acquired knowledge of something, he does not yet know [it] just as he ought to know [it]. But if anyone loves God, this one is known by him.
Knowledge puffs up but love builds up..........This has helped me because I'm lacking in knowledge, but by showing love to my fellowman and God it as helped me cope with life's anxieties.

can i give you a Psalm instead? Psalm 86 is my favorite because it shows how truly small the human race is compared to Our Lord and Savior and that we admit we need help from Our Forgiving and Sovereign Lord. If you have a Bible handy break it out and read it now, you'll see what im talking about i hope. i pray that God bless you and if your not a christian, i hope you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16

Someone asked a Similar Question and my answer was DELETED as not an answer! But I will try again!
(Psalms 66:18) If I regard iniquity in my heart, = = the Lord will not hear me:
(1Samuel 16:7) But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, = = but the LORD looketh on the heart.
This is a two-fold answer, for GOD looks upon our hear and WE must look upon our own heart.....! A Clean Hear and A Clear Conscience are what God is looking FOR!
Thanks, RR, Amos 3:3

Romans 10 Vs 9- 12
For unless you confess Jesus as your savior and repent of your sins, you shall not be saved. But if you confess your sins and believe in your heart that HE arose from the dead and was resurected, and now sits on the right hand of God, you shall be saved. Paraphrased !!
This is a must read as many still believe that John 3 vs 16 is the salvation message. But in reality, . . . .Romans 10 vs 9-12 really is.

Matthew 22:36-39 sums up the whole message of the Bible:
"Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
With love in Christ.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." It's well-known and I think it's very important to all Christians because God loves us so much.

Jeremiah 15:16 - Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.
This verse would be my first choice. I like it because it describes my heart. When I'm not feasting on God's Word, my heart hungers. But when I am feasting on His Word, my heart overflows with joy.
