Yes - I hope so - I have faith in everyone, then make a do not trust list and put people on it after they lie/cheat/etc.. People are basically good, remember.
Hopefully you have faith in your parents, and religious leader. Faith, for me, means trusting in the goodness of people. I sure hope you have this!
Please surround yourself with people you can trust, and in an area where good out numbers bad. Maybe things will turn around, and oh, stop watching the news, both local and national, as all they talk about is bad stories, when the good stories out there rarely make the news. Whole towns are not as bad as they appear in the news.
Also people can redeem themselves, and return to being a trusted person. Never write off a person forever.

Each person (including you) is given a measure of faith. The question is; what will you put your faith in? Most people are not at all trust worthy. (trust is another word for faith). Your primary trust should be in Scriptures, and the Almighty who gave them (and the Savior) to us. But yes, if you choose to put your faith in a person, you may, (though it isn't usually smart, and you likely will be let down).

Yes, by opening your heart to that someone, but of course, that would also mean that you're ready for anything at all, including the possibility of experiencing unpleasant situations, i.e. getting hurt.

Yes because you have to have faitht that they'll do the right thing in the end. when you have faith you are trusting them to do what's right in the end so you can.

Given one of the definitions of the word...."Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing."...the answer is yes. People can't simply redefine a word because of their personal feelings. The word still has the same definition even if one lone goof says it doesn't.

I believe so, although in this day it's so hard to put even trust in people, much harder actual faith. It's a person's actions you put faith in, beginning with trusting their intent.
