Since it's strong, how would you sweeten it to make it passable? Would it be tasty?

You can use any good roasted coffee and perk it in a stovetop percolator, filling the basket slightly more than recommended. Leave it perking for a long time, until the color you see through the glass knob on top is darkest brown. This method creates stronger coffee, as the water is passed through the grounds over and over again, each time picking up more of the alkaloids and flavor from the grounds. It will be oily and very dark, but you can sweeten it with sugar, add cocoa to enhance the rich flavor and I top that off with rice milk, but others may want to add regular milk. However, I have trained myself to drink it without flavorings. It is quite like a medicine in this strength but I have gotten quite accustomed to it!

You can simply make a strong pot of coffee use more coffee than you usually put in it. You can sweeten it by using sugar or Flavored creamers. Flavored creamers come in many different flavors at the grocery store. They are quite a nice compliment to coffee if you don't want to use a lot of sugar!

For Greek or Turkish coffee all you need is the coffee, water and a small pot to boil it in, once it has comes to the boil you let the ground float to the bottom and drink the top layer, it is enough to curl the hair on your toes!!!

There is no safe and effective way to sterilize equipment at home, the best you can hope for is to sanitize your equipment with a chemical spray such as lysol.
