My best guess is that you have some sort of seizure disorder and the taste in your mouth is your "aura", the signal that some epileptics get some of the time before a seizure. Since it involves taste, there may or may not be some sort of metabolic syndrome involved-diabetes, etc. And, well...you don't happen to use benzos, do you? Benzodiazepines can lower the seizure threshhold, and present in much that way. You really need to see a doctor, get at the very least an EEG and some blood tests. Best of luck.

wow, thats not good. i guess id have to agree with cait or whoever, it may be a med youre taking, or a mental/organ/diabetic dysfunction. not good at all. go to a doctor and have them do an EEG, and probably a cardio test i guess - they might do the whole kaboodle with the MRI, CAT and cardio-pulmonary scans. or youre posessed - voodoo sounds like it may be an interesting decision, but i do feel sorry for that chicken. best of luck!!!

This sounds like a medical emergency to me. Go see your doctor immediately and get checked out. This is not normal for any one to be having spells like what your are describing.
