Nylon didn't exist before 1935, but there is a strain of bacteria that eats it.

OK, yes humans eat artificial junk. But these bacteria actually metabolise and derive enrgy from nylon. That's a big difference.

oldguy - fair enough but it is a common argument that is used by Creationists and ID proponents against evolution.
