If you stay under 4000 mg per day it should not have any liver effect. If you are taking the "extra strength" tablets that are 500 mg that limits you to 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Tylenol isn't supposed to damage the liver. Asprins are what is supposed to damage the liver.

Yes it does but only in large quantity. The liver is the filter for every thing that goes in your mouth or lungs.
