50 cwts = 2265 kg = 2.265 tons

I don't know if you meant metric ton, which I used, or the other british versions (short and long tons).

20 cwt = 1 ton, so 50 cwt = 50/20 ton = 2.5 ton

1 cwt is 112 pounds, theres 20 cwt to the ton. so 50cwt is 2 and a half tons
