also pain in the area where the gallbladder was removed. Gallbladder was removed because of low function. I also have a nodule in my thyroid and acid reflux and sliding hyidal hernia. could the problems of burning throat and coldness be caused from the thryoid or hernia?

I had gallbladder surgery a year ago and I do not remember having those symptoms, other than discomfort/slight pain from incisions.

I'd speak to your physician if I were you.

Yes, it is perfectly normal, unless you see extreme redness or pus, which might indicate infection at the site. It takes a considerable length of time to recover from gall bladder surgery.
