I am in the process of potty training my 2 1/2 year old. However, he is refusing to keep his pants, pullup/diaper on. What can I do?

I have tried putting him in sweats, jeans sleepers. I'm not sure what else to do.

I don't think that my daughter EVER wore clothes between the ages of 2 1/2 and 3. I had to put her jammies on her backward with the zipper up the back where she couldn't reach, or I woke up to a naked, wet, and shivering kiddo in the crib.

It really doesn't hurt anything, but if you're worried (my house gets chilly in the wintertime or you have guests), just put them back on him again (and again and again). Distract him with a new activity right after you put the pants on. Also, praise goes a long way ("What a good boy! You're keeping your pants on just like the big boys do!")

Hey I would go with it, if your child is sitting on the potty and going, then just let him run bear. It is not a big deal as long as it is you and him unless you have a cat that might pose a problem or two.

But if this just unnerves you, try reward for keeping cloths on and you might want to stick him in big boy undies the cartoon kind, that might give him an incentive to keep at least something on

Good luck

Let him run nakey in the house, it's okay
Try big boy underwear on the condition that they must be worn with sweats or pants (something easy to take off)
Reward him for keeping his pants on outside/in public
Remind him when he gets out of the car or just remind him often outdoors/public - and praise him for NOT taking them off
It's a phase, most of them go through it - taking off their clothes - it's new and they are in charge of it, so they enjoy making their own choices - don't stress so much. You're lucky it's winter and he probably will not want to be cold!
The more you ignore it, the faster it will be over. If he sees it causes a reaction in you, then he's going to LOVE to do it even more so.

I would not mess approximately it to a lot attempt to inform her evenly that its now not well to head poo poo in her pants or what ever you wish to mention then provide a rationale ,similar to. When you move to kindergarten they do not wish women that move poo poo in there pants. I she does not get the message inside two weeks take her on a "discipline travel" if you are going to again in time inform her if she does not act like a tremendous lady she wont deal with you favor a tremendous lady. Dont permit her from your web page, mindful little one sitters, academics ,and anybody that mite handle her to regard her with the liberty of a two 12 months historic. As a final hotel take her to a health care provider you under no circumstances realize it probably a clinical crisis . My peers little cousin has it.

suspenders and overalls.
My little guy went through the same thing, but when I put suspenders or overalls on, he would have a more difficult time getting them off.

It might just delay things a bit, but it might be enough to where you can get him to stop.
