No experience in spells. but would like to try some. How can I be sure they will work? And how can I do them well. Would especially like to do a good snow spell.

Most spells don't REALLY work. They're just designed to make you feel more confident about what you're trying to accomplish. Like a love spell will make you feel more confident to go out and try to get love. Just look online and see what you find! As long as a spell isn't hurting someone, have fun trying it all.

Whoa. Hold up a few minutes. Do you have any idea how spells work? Or how badly they can backfire? In fact, do you know the smallest smigeon of Witchcraft at all? I don't want to sound mean, but those who are uneducated are the ones that mess up. You can't just pick up a Harry Potter looking piece of wood, chant something, and expect a POOF. It doesn't work like that. Magick is bending your will to create change. It opens up opportunities for the thing you want to happen, but nothing more. Also, I don't know any pagan who goes around giving out spells. In reality, it's not such a great thing, using someone elses work. Writing your own spell with your own intent is A LOT safer. Get some books and read up on the subject of Witchcraft, THEN try something. Knowlege is power ;)

Ok...

You can't be sure anything will work. While we may want or need something, the Universe and Deity has it's own ideas about what we really need. So, there are no guarantees.

However, there are ways to assure we at least put our best intent into our spell crafting. We make our intent clear by focusing, we add energy to make sure that our intent is powered, we do all the background work necessary to assure success. Like finding a job. Just asking for one is not going to do it. You need to look for jobs you can do, send out resumes and keep contact with prospective employers. You can't attain anything if you don't put yourself out there.

Finally... weather work. Sorry, not something that I recommend anyone mess with. We go back to cause and effect here. You take weather from one place and move it to another, you upset the balance of nature. And as we look to achieve balance, this is not a working that is recommended.

If you have no clue about what you are doing... I suggest you start at the beginning. Then read, understand, and practice. And you will grow to know your own limitations, and the limitations nature, deity and the universe has placed on us mortals.

A person has to know their limitations. You need to understand your own.

The result of spellwork depends greatly on the focus and energy you put into the spell itself. Yes, they do work, but even the most simple spells are still very intricate in nature. To really learn, find an open group or coven in your area. A good place to find something like this is on www.witchvox.com where you can view local people and organizations who also want to network.
