Love happens everywhere, not just in India. Yeah the rates of premarital sex have risen in India. That's due to the open values of the Western culture and people just being more experimental I guess. Have you ever thought that premarital sex was just a hush hush topic all these years?? C'mon, people in India were having premarital sex in my parents generation!
I love my Indian roots but it disturbs me that many Indians are so hypocritical. You love the american culture, try to dress and talk like us. Work at an American company , listen to hip hop, watch MTV and then eat at McDonalds with your friends. Yet anytime there is something wrong with India the American culture is the first to blame. People (especially our president) do still believe in family values. They believe in things like abstinence until marriage. A lot of people here still wait till marriage to have sex.
