My husband and I are celabrating our 3rd anniversary soon and it's a bummer to decide where to go to. We were thinking of the Carribean, and I got "drowned" trying to find place not too crowded, yet close to entertainment, fine dining and fun stuff to do. If you've been to "that" place, please share! I will owe you one... Thanks a lot!

My wife and I went to the Sandals resort in Nassau, Bahamas. We enjoyed in thoroughly. It was not crowded at all. We were able to get into restaurants without waiting.

As far as couples vacations, Sandals is the best. Gotta do ALL-INCLUSIVE. No other way to go.

In fact, my wife and I will probably not be going back to Sandals as a family, because our last trip to Sandals, she brought back a souvenir that is due to arrive in early March.

Good Luck in your search!

My husband and I highly recommend LaBelle Creole Resort on the French side of St Maarten. It is very small, romantic and everything at the resort looks over a beautiful bay, with your own private beaches and all the rooms are made of Stone. You can have dinner on terraces with birds singing all around you. You can take a bath in your tub in your room and hear the ocean waves.... the beds have canopies and the rooms are like Caribbean stone castle decor. No drywall anywhere. THe food is awesome, the atmosphere sweet. We rented a scooter for the week and toured all over the island exploring the side markets and beaches. You can cross over to the Dutch side too and see the difference in the people. We have been married 12 years and go to the Caribbean every year and no place has even come close to that!

I love the Caribbean. In particular, I love Antigua and have been three times. I also was married there. There are beautiful beaches, friendly people, and nightlife if you want it. It's also easily accessible from the States. You can choose a mega-resort or a smaller hotel. I really think you'd like it.
