I once read this discussion between Ali (ra) and a Christian - it sounds brilliant and typically like Seyyidina Ali (he demolishes the Christian belief in a few lines) but because he says something negative about Isa (as) is it sahih ?
A Christian said to Ali (ra) - why dont you accept Christianity
Ali (ra) said to a Christian - I would become a Christian if Jesus (pbuh) hadnt been "disobedient" to God*
The Christians was shocked and said "How can say Jesus wasnt obedient to God - he fasted and prayed - even your religion says he never was disobedient - so how can you say he was disobedient to God ?!?"
Ali (ra) "Because he said he was God but never worshipped himself"
* he is not implying that Jesus (pbuh) was disobedient -God forbid but usuing to show the Christian his error

But I don’t see it is strange because saydnna Ali Ibn Abi-Taleb was a good believer,he was brilliant,and brave...

You didn't give any reference, but as you said he is not implying that Jesus (pbuh) was disobedient -God forbid but usuing to show the Christian his error, so he was right.

No its not true. That's from someones imagination a made up fabricated story. We as Muslims do accept Jesus he is a beloved and respected prophet. We accept all of Gods prophets and those who don't, don't know what they are talking about.

I m not sure about it, but i have read such story before but could not recall properly !!
But Yes, this is very intelligent....No doubt its confusing.....How come he is God when he never called him so, According to christains he was crucified , so if he was a God why hadn't he saved himself from that or if he was son of a God then Why his father let him die on cross....... again every one has to pay for one own deeds, No one can suffer for others sins even if he is prophet , this is what our God call justice!! jesus didn't die for someone sins !!

it would help if you provide us ur source. Is it from Bukhari, Muslim, or the collected words and deeds of Ali (i forgot the title).

Not exactly agree with it but...u gotta admit its witty......why did Jesus/Isa(pbuh) not pray to his God/Father...?!!? If you are there as a messiah you have to show people HOW TO PRAY RIGHT...?!!?...HEY WHO DID TEACH CHRISTIANS HOW TO PRAY...?!!?
