not worth the effort, pay the fine & take the pts, if you fite it in court, odds on you'll lose & end up with a stiffer punishment. BOTTOM LINE IS, they not arsed how fast you going... they just want the revenue & motorists are easy targets

(UK) It's the norm now for them not to send a photo with the demand for a fine and you have to go to court if you want to see the photo evidence. Unless you think it's mistaken identity (you're sure you never drove on whatever road is stated on the letter), just pay the fine and accept it.
They must have a decent enough photo of your licence plate as they managed to send the letter to the right person.
Look on the bright side - a speeding ticket is just a reminder to concentrate more in future - it might have saved you from some much worse incident.

Believe me you can be found guilty....I got done for speeding and they had photographic evidence....and I was NOT even driving. I was the passenger female/ blonde and my boyfriend was driver dark hair/ moustache...after 1 year of arguing and fines increasing I just took the points and paid up.

You don't get a photo. You are only found guilty if you go to court, which would be a waste of time, as most people in your position were obviously breaking the law. Just pay the fine!

its all got really dirty now they dont have to show photo,
also they are being given powers to id you on clothing mostly for motor cycles but then police can come & check to see if you own clothing that matches the photo that you will not see,
some countys send a photo still but only one now so you can not work your speed out by distance traveled,
try www.pepipoo i think thats how its spelt help with speeding tickets

Maybe you should consider driving the speedlimit rather than whining about getting caught and having to pay for your trasngression. Driving is not a right, but a privilege granted to you by the government in return for your implied consent to obey all traffic laws.

I would call someone locally and find out. Maybe a lawyer. I thought that if you were sent a ticket through the mail...they had to send a photo copy of your license plate running the red light. Maybe you can ask the judge. I would try to fight the ticket till you have proof.

Good luck!

go to court on the day stated on the paper, if he cop actually shows up(you get away free if he doesn't), ask him to produce the evidence against you.
unless the cop pulls some sort of patriot act on you, he has to produce eveidence that You commited a crime.
fight the power!
