Yes, along with organised politics, but it's not difficult to see the factors operating which bring both into being and maintain them.
There is an effectiveness, and a sense of solidarity and support which comes out of group activity.

The group's core values and objectives are only secondarily relevant to this. The mutual identification and beloonging can easily be the principal good for the individual who does not want to be "left outside."


(Very nice handling of the "ghost division", by the way).

It is certainly true that no organized religion (that I have been able to find) follows Scripture. Once the Almighty calls a man (or men, or women) from error into some part of truth, they seem incapable of learning more truth, or resisting calling people to themselves, (rather than the Creator). Scriptures, however, are true, though every man be a liar, and are the standard by which we will be judged in the end.

and just because you prayed doesn't mean you believe....
and wtf is with all the war crap!?! of course your not going to win a battle by praying to god, god is neatrual from man-made wars...he will not help just cuz you pray, u lost or whatever happened bcuz it was ment to be, god wanted it to be...
