Well, I would ask him if he likes those "I love the 80's", or 90's shows & say I like to watch the 90's version because I was born in 1980 & I remember a lot of the stuff on the shows. Then you can just ask when he was born.

take him to a place that has an age requirement if he looks too young. Or just ask him if he looks too old.
