Yes as a muslim I do but I do believe in the bible in it's original state sent down to Jesus (may the peace and blessings of God be upon him)
Today the bible is completely distorted by man .
The new testement has evident omitions from the old testement why?(not that I am implying that the old testement isn't already distorted)
Till today the Bible continues to be sistoirted what will the bivle be like in the next 50 years what will it be called a NEWER bible with more omitions
Unlike the Bible the Quran hasn't been distorted by man the Original Quran dating back to around 1500 years is no different than any standard Quran Today

It depends what you mean when you say the bible? In hebrew, that is directly translated to "book of stories". So in an essence, that is exactly what it is. But the jews only will aknowledge the tanach which is the old testament. They do not look to that as a history book, but as a moral conduct for instructions to life. As some would define the b.i.b.l.e. as "basic instructions before leaving earth". Or as another would put it, "buy bull". I have personally read the bible front to back. Took me about 3 months. And I believe in the old testament, but question many actions of THE GOD in that book. I ask myself, "Why would GOD do something like that?" But then I get my answer with thought that will more than likely all the time disagree with the beliefs of most. But hey, what can you do? Then I start to understand why GOD does those things. Because most considfer themselves greater than HE. Easy answer. But when you say bible, most people(mainly christians) will only referr to the new testament as the bible. But that is only like 125 pages compared to like 1000.
Do I believe the bible is the true inspired word of GOD? For one thing, I don't accept jesus as GOD. Second, I don't believe in the new testament. Third, I follow my own road. So the answer to that is NO. But the old testament has great moral stories. Oh, and I consider those stories to be true. But I always kept in mind that someone somewhere in time twisted the story. I believe in the quran 100%. PEACE!

God inspired the Bible through forty writers.
Inspiration doesn't mean the biblical writer just felt enthusisatic, like the composer of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Nor does it mean the writings are necessarily inspiring to read, like an uplifting poem. The biblical Greek workd for inspiration litterally means "God-breathed." Because Scripture is breathed out by God - because it originates from Him - it is true and inerrant.
Biblical inspiration may be deined as God's superintending of the human authors so that, using their own individual personalities - and even their writing styles - they composed and recorded without error His revelation to humankind in the words of the original autographs. In other words, the original documents of the their own personalities and literary talents, wrote under the control and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the result being a perfect and errorless recording of the exact message God desired to give to man.
Hence, the writers of Scripture were not mere writing machines. God did not use them like keys on a typewriter to mechanicallly reproduce His message. Nor did He dictate the words, page by page. The biblical evidence makes it clear that each writer had a style of his own. (Isaiah ahd a powerful literary style; Jeremiah had a mournful tone; Luke's style had medical evertones; and John was very simple in his approach.) The Holy Spirit infallibly worked through each of these writers, through their individual styles, to inerrantly communicate His message to humankind.

No. I say this because there are thousands of religions in this world, some of who follow deities older than the Christian god. How can millions of people, and their "gods" be wrong, and only a few are right?
I believe it was constructed in the time of ancient cities, as a means to control the population by fear.

I've heard that the bible like most fables is a work of fiction with a strong moral compass they were stories to promote how you should live not the word of God. Jesus would roll over in his grave, if he had one, with all the religions created in his or Gods name. Be happy live well and be kind to others. Best Bible I ever wrote. Amen

Parts of the bible are with out a doubt inspired by God. It has helped me a great deal in my life.
There is also a great deal of nonsense that has made it into the bible. Thats life.
Why does it need to be all or nothing with you people?
Love and blessings Don

I don't have to visit your site to answer the question. Yes, I believe that every word of scripture is "inspired" by God. And, anyone who does should live their life as such. Many "christian" religions bring you to repentance and tell you you are a new creature and then tell you to live by the old covenant. Jesus was the fulfillment of the old covenant, (Laws of Moses), and so we should live as Jesus taught the disciples to live. The instructions are there, but most who say they believe ( that is to rely on, trust in, and adhere to ) the Bible is God's word don't live it.

I for one do not question the teachings in the bible and i believe it entirely as it is written. It bothers me when some people try and pick it apart searching for absolution for their problems or their lifestyles.
