From the tsb cash machine, yeah, that shouldn't be a problem as long as its not a cash card in which case you can only use it at a halifax bank. But withdrawing from a counter at tsb with a halifax card , the answer is no.

No. only if you were using a cash machine, but they only give out notes. You need halifax branch to go into for a few pounds

You can use your card in the machines at any bank provided it is Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard or any of the other cards indicated by the little pictures on the machine.

Yes! you can go to any ATM/ hole in the wall as long as it's a minimum of, i think £10.
