I have often wondered that also. It seems like there are even Christians who are just skipping along, la de la, more concerned with the material things of life rather than the spiritual.
It reminds me of the parable of the seven bridesmaids that Jesus spoke of.
The end times are definitely approaching fast and the Bible warns that even when these things begin to happen many will fall away from the faith. Also the evildoers will become worse.
Their attitude will be just like the Pharaoh's attitude towards Moses and God was. No matter what plagues, and global catastrophes the world will experience the wicked will still deny God.
But there is hope for the few that do turn to God and repent. Lets not give up on those who are searching for for the truth with their hearts. We in Christ are to go along about our Father's business, living as an example of Christ, doing God's will. Don't concern yourself with what others are doing, but be more concerned that you are doing what He has called you to do. Trust in God and do not lean on your own understanding.

Because there's no evidence of any kind that there is any such thing as "god," that he ever existed, or that he'll ever "come back."
Apocalyptic christians have been claiming the "signs of the end times are happening" for 2000 years. Every single era thinks they are the ones living in the end times, and that jesus' return is imminent. They've all been wrong. We're still here, jesus isn't coming back -- ever.
Your own superstitious book of myth (the bible) says nobody knows when the time will be -- so why do you contradict your own holy book and claim that we're close to the time of the end? Geez, you can't even follow the book you claim is the direct word of god, why should any of us rational people listen to anything you have to say?

I have a quesiton for you. Why do Christians always look at the future as being so bleak? Why are you so worried about the end? If anything you should be the ones at peace. For centuries, Christians have been talking about how the signs are pointing to the end of the world accordiing to Revelations. So far so good. I'm not worried, and if it does happen in my lifetime, oh well. we're all screwed.

I'm not concerned because people have been seeing signs of the end times for hundreds of years. It says someplace in the Bible that no one knows the hour or day. It'll happen when it happens.

people in general probably don't care about this because we have seen the truth of religion you know that John wrote about the anti-Christ hes the only disciple to write about this in a time when christian feuded among themselves about the fact if Jesus was flesh and blood or a spirit John sad any who disagreed with him where of the Anti-Christ... seems political to me.... not only that but Revelation was written by a man around 220 a.d. he was christian but belong to the Catholic order said it was divine intervention hmm i could say that to... same with Domher Manson that Waco Texas guy the 700 club guy who says hes christian but passes judgment on everyone???... the common idea here is that religion is written by man to influence your ideas and fears it leads and directs masses. I believe in God but forget religion... do whats right follow your own mind quit being so impressionable

According to my understanding, we don't choose God; rather he chooses us,and draws us in. And then, through the Holy Spirit we gain understanding. Those people that God does not choose are spiritually blinded. They don't get it,and the bible makes no sense to them. But our God is a loving and merciful God, and for those who are blinded now, their time will come when the blinders will fall off their eyes. Jesus died for the sins of the WORLD.

I've told for the last 25 years that this supposed end time is coming, and it still hasn't.
Someone told me that the Iraq war was a sign of the end times, as it was the worst war ever. i told her that that city around her (Bristol) was once bombed flat during WWII and then things got better. she didn't know what i was talking about.
What I mean is, this isn't the worst time ever, so how could it be the end?
