Hello, yes god did create the earth, and you should believe faith over science because without god they would not even have the brain or knowledge to even learn or find out the things they do. in the bible at genesis 1:1 it says in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth. also in genesis 1:11,12 say that grass and tress's were made to produce each according it it kind". verses 21, 24,25 add that god created sea creatures, flying creatures and the land animals, each according to its own kind' there is no ALLOWANCE here for one basic kind to evolve or change into another. hopes that answers you question if you have any more question regrading the answer that was given please feel free to contact me a luvash2010@yours.com

All of my information is right from the bible my religion is one of Jehovah witnesses thank you Ashley

It all depends on your definition of God. If it's the force or combination of forces that's responsible for the creation of all physical matters in the universe, than, of course, God did create the Earth. It's like if someone asked you who founded Yale University and you replied: "the Yale University Founder". You'd be 100% correct, wouldn't you now?

If, however, your image of God was a Caucasian-looking, white-haired elderly gentleman as painted by the Renaissance artists, the Almighty who seemed to communicate only with Jews and Christians (i.e. Abraham, Moses and Jesus), you'd have a hard time convincing most Asians, Africans, many Latin Americans, Native Americans, many women that it was he who created the earth.

Who does Science say created the earth? Surely you do not believe that Science itself created the world? Isnt Science simply the study of a thing? I think there is a Science called Theology. How would that fit into this equation?

The first line of Genesis is written,

Gen 1:1
1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.
KJV

Bereshit bara Eloheim...or in English, "In THE beginning G-d". I means that in the beginning, there was nothing else BUT G-d.

Read Quran and you will understand that the universe is created by none other than ALLAH (God)...

He is the one God who has no partner. Nothing is like Him. He is the Creator, not the created, nor a part of His creation. He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just, All-Knowing, All-Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign. There is no entity worthy of worship besides Him.

Who knows? Who needs to know? Even if you KNEW that God didn't create Earth would that affect you believing in him at all? Can God only exist if he created Earth, or maybe God made Earth create itself.....

What I'm saying is we will never have answers to all of these questions, nor do we really need them..... Know what science tells you and believe in what your heart tells you... Science and faith go hand in hand....

Yes, God did create the earth, and there is no proof that He didn't. When we can't find scientific proof of God, that doesn't mean God is not real. It just means we are not intelligent enough to fully understand God, but the arrogance of some scientists leads them to say they have proved things they did not prove...

God create earth or the Universe? Faith is admitting that things should be taken without their merits. Science attempts to explain things that are in agreement with obervation. Believe what you want, I will never push my own on others.
