I had the same color hair as you when i was younger, and now i have light brown/dirty blonde hair but i recently got blonde highlights. I LOVE it. And it sounds to me like we have the same hair color so if i was you i would get highlights...trust me you won't regret it :)

hope this helps<3 (;

It all depends on your skin tone colour. If you have light pale skin, then I suggest you go all brown. It will bring out your features, whereas light blond highlights may end up washing you out. If you don't have light pale skin, and it's a bit darker, then you could probably get away with blonde highlights. But all in all, I'd ask the opinion of a professional hair stylist. They would be able to tell you and give you a more accurate answer.

If it was that light when you were little you must have coloring that is right for lighter hair, so I think you should just go with highlights. Also, highlights would be less damaging to the overall hair than a headful of brown dye would.

def. brown..Its the winter season and you should always go a bit darker with yout hair. If you eant to try some blodne highlights I would wait until the spring to do that. Plus brown its the more tredny of the two right now!

Defiantly go all brown. Highlights can sometimes make the hair look miss matched and dry, especially with new growth.

If you really want to make your appearance stand out, get a new hair cut. A layered look or bangs can make anyone look brand new!

Personally, I wouldnt dye it or put highlights in it because you were born the way you were born and you have the color hair you have. You should leave it the way you have it because if people dont like your hair, then thats their problem! They'll like you for who you are.

try a temporary blonde highlight kit or temporary brown hair dye kit that way if you don't like it you can go back to original color.
