I recently moved to Los Angeles from Canada. Is it possible to transfer my Canadian credit history to USA?

I got a US American Express credit card already through global transfer. What's the fastest way to buildup credit history in US? Thanks!

You can't transfer your credit history, however if you're trying to buy a house or car, some lending institutions will agree to run your Canadian credit. Just let them know your situation when you apply.

You cannot transfer your Canadian credit history to your information here in the U.S. Any loan accounts you open with U.S.banks or purchases on credit cards used, mortgage, and some utilitiy companies, etc. will begin to establish a report on you as long as you have an address here in the U.S.
