my bf of 7 months just wrote me an email and told me hes sorry for making me unhappy why do guys email a lady and tell them they are better off as friends than to tell them in person or over the phone?

Because there is little to add if the relationship is over and they feel no need to get into a long drawn out discussion about it , especially if they feel they will face trying to get talked out of it . .

Often they are scared of your reactions. I guess you take it cool. Just a friendly advise, never go in relations so in dept at first point so that breaking it would hurt you deep. And dont show too much of cares for guys, so that they feel very safe about their relation with you and hurt you ever now and then.

Because they think we will get all emotional and cry and they don't want to deal with that. Well, I ignore E-mails like that. I make them come and tell me in person because I want to see if they are man enough to face me. I figure if the guy is a real man, he owes it to me to tell me in person.

Your Ex chose the easy way out. It is much easier to call or write than to face your problems head on. Hopefully you are both young, otherwise, this guy has a serious problem.

Because inside he's not really sure the reason he's breaking up if it's the right reason or not, but if he's right there in person everything she will say to him will make sense and he'll then feel like the real fool for breaking up with her because he won't have any decent replies back. ;o)

Ask him why he cant say it in person....Those that r truly sorry are man enough to do it in person. Explain that one should think first and maybe he wouldn't have to say sorry

because he is not a man, he is a little boy that is not mature enough to be in a relationship. you are better off without him.
