As Jews, people who most suffered under the tyranny of the Third Reich -- Hitler's henchmen and butchers, who are also known as Gd's people, you could certainly say that Gd has spoken for them. Their survival as a people has outlived the the Third Reich, and exceeded it by ten-fold.
So you could say, the Allies were the hand of Gd used to smite the Axis and her allies.
Perhaps, and this brings into question the inherent nature of Gd, that he is a benevolent, loving Gd -- which isn't supported by the Jews -- whether the choice was made by Gd to save the Jews because he felt they were being persecuted. An action made by Gd then set forth to protect the Jews and award the allies with winning -- the good/bad Gd distinction would have been made that Gd is a good being, an all-truistic and everloving. An interventionist Gd would likely choose sides, so in choosing the side of the Allies and the Jews -- you could say, however this is only if your belief that Gd is good/bad, that he was on the side of the Allies.
Hope this helps,
Av.

"GOD IS DEAD" said F. Nietzcshe.
But he was not entirely right, because God never existed in the first place.
The concept of God was an invention of time of humanity's infancy when a psychological method of bringing moral conduct into the society was needed. God is in inner policeman, judge, politician, ulimate father figure, authoritarian moralist.
The very fact that BOTH sides of WW2 prayed to the SAME God, (and that the Pope blessed the Nazis) should reveal to us the truth - that there is no God.

It is hard to tell. In the Bible God does control the outcome of wars and battles, but he is not always on the side of the winners. Often he punishes a country by sending another one to make war on them, and then punishes the winners in turn for their wanton cruelty or arrogance.
Take the Israelies, Assyrians, and Babylonians for example. God sent the Israelites to punish the Canaanites for their sins, then he sent the Assyrians to punish Israel, then he sent the Babylonians to punish the Assyrians for their cruelty and also to punish Judah, then he sent the Persians and Medes to punish the Babylonians for their arrogance.
There are times when God is clearly on one side against another, but also there are times when he makes one side win but he is not necessarily on their side either.

No..it said right on the Wehrmacht's belt buckles: Gott Mit Uns
(God is with us)
Given the choice, I would rather have the USA's industrial might on my side than a Bronze age god.

I'd say so, considering the Nazis were killing God's Chosen People.
"Now the Lord said to Abram...'I will make of you a great nation...I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse'" (Genesis 12:1-3).
