Well i don't think that would be a Christian book! I don't want to get in the debate of who respects Jesus more! All i know is Muslims have a lot of respect for Jesus.

Perhaps you are confusing Christian with Western. A lot of people from Muslim countries seem to think that everyting that the West does is "Christian", so the American porn industry is Christian, the people insulting the prophets in various ways are Christian, and so on. If there is such a book that insults Jesus, you can be sure that it is not a Christian book.

Excuse me? There is not ONE Christian book out there that has a picture of Jesus having relations. That is disrespectful and blasphemous. So, I don't know where you got the idea that it was a Christian book. But, it does not surprise me that there is a book out there like that. If you read the bible you will see that it prophecies that the world will turn more and more against Christ in the end times. We are in the end times now!

One of the best question I have ever heard.
I am not a scholar but I would try to answer it with the knowledge I have.
First of all, we believe in Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) as one of the prophets of Allah (God) some other prophets were Adam, Joseph, Abraham, Ismail, Moses, Muhammad and many more (peace be upon all of them).
They were THE BEST creation of all the time. If the most pious people of the whole world got together, they still could not be compare to one hair of the prophetst. They were human being but they were chosen by Allah (god) to lead the humen to the right path.
That is why I don't agree with christian movies about Jesus (p.b.u.h) because the characters that represent Jesus (p.b.u.h)can not be compared to Jesus (p.b.u.h) no matter how good, pious and religious is that person.
Also, we as Muslim never make pictures of the Prophets.
***Thanks for reading***and I hope I answered your question in a good maner***

I used to be Catholic, but I embraced Islam 6 years ago. I now know more about Jesus than I did before becoming a Muslim. Basically, all of the prophets were conveying the same message - to worship the one and only God (and of course gave teachings on how to live our lives). All of the prophets were God's messengers, and deserve our utmost respect. Any mockeries towards them are not right.
In the holy Qur'an, there is a chapter (19) called "Maryam" - meaning "Mary" (the mother of Jesus). We believe that Mary was the mother of Jesus, she conceived him miraculously by Allah's will. Jesus was NOT the son of God, he was a marvelous messenger and prophet (albeit still a human). It's blasphemous to say that God All-mighty has a begotten son! It's too bad that Christians have strayed so much from Jesus' teachings.

If you saw depictions of Jesus having sex, it was not in a Christian book. To answer your question, let me ask you one: How does denying the deity of Jesus, denying His sacrificial death, and denying that He created Muhammad and everything else in existence translate into more respect? Islam totally negates the work of God in the redemption of fallen mankind because they deny the Son of God. Whoever does not have the Son does not have the Father. That's what Christians believe. We respect Jesus ultimately as being One with the Father. Keep seeking.

Jesus is a Prophet of God he gave bible, Mohamed is a Prophet of God he gave Quran. Both said believe God, How Mohamed is a prophet to Us Jesus is also a prophet to Us. But the difference is you people say he is the son of God that is a only very big difference. So believe on Allaha he is the only True God. Believe Jesus and Mohamed they are out true prophets.

Just because they are not "christians" does not mean they don't believe Jesus wasn't a real human being, with real talents, and purpose.
Though he is not believed to be God himself, he IS believed to be one of God's prophets, and should be respected as such and just as much as, if not more than, any of God's prophets.

Why would you think it was a Christian book? For real? Was it because it was an AMERICAN book you might assume it's Christian? Christians dont put picture of Jesus having sex in a book, get a clue.
