since u take joy in ur children's activities so do the creator. But, if ur children do wrong things like fighting and bad abusive words etc u may punish them for the concern of their being good and well mannered and so does the creator.

I dont think anything can be simpler than this.

Well, there's no evidence of any kind that there is any such thing as a "creator."

But let's assume for a moment that there is, and compare "him" to you. You love your children, you would do ANYTHING to protect them, keep them healthy, make them safe. You'd spend all your money, do anything, even give your own life to make sure they never suffered harm -- right?

Now let's look at this hypothetical "creator" -- why doesn't he do the same, or MORE, seeing as how he's supposed to be all-powerful? He doesn't keep humans from disease, death, suffering, accidents, natural disasters, etc. Humans get sick, suffer, die, kill each other, and live miserable lives constantly and continually. If this "creator" has so much love for humans, as you do for your children, why doesn't he at least do as much as you do, or even more since he's supposed to be all-powerful? Frankly, if this is what "god" is supposed to be, he's a pretty lousy god -- his "love" isn't doing humans any good whatsoever. All the more reason to accept the overwhelmingly compelling evidence that there is no such thing as "god."

Peace.

The only difference is you would not condemn your child to an eternity of suffering for disobeying you. So, no God does not love you as much as you think.

Yes God rejoices in His Children. You, as a father, should follow after Christ, and be the daddy that rejoices in his children too. But you can't love your children as much as Father God loves your children.

Love rejoices in the Truth. God is love.

But there are times that God doesn't rejoice in us. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for those who come to God, must believe that God Is and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. (Don't doubt)

The Lord sits in the praises of His people. (Don't curse)

Give thanks for this pleases God. (Don't whine)

Delight yourself in the Lord (read His Word/praise God in Church/pray to God) and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Don't ignore God)

Yes...and I think you know that. I think it's easier to see God when you have your own kids, how God can love us even when we make mistakes...that's what part of having children is.

Jehovah God loves us yes. He also has standards or rules to live by. When we don't obey he is hurt as you would be. He wants us to get everlasting life so he hold life and death before us..obey and get life..disobey and die...he lets us choose for ourselves.. and it will hurt him id we die..but..he has standards and we all have to rise to his standards he will not slink to ours.
