My cat was fine by the time I got her home from the vet. She was a little groggy for an afternoon, but OK. She got around the house just fine right away, though obviously a bit sore for a few days...

Normally cats are just fine after a day or two if you notice that she isn't and her nose is hot and she's unwell call your vet immediately. She should have bounced back by now it's Sunday so if she has bounced back as in eating again, drinking water and having a bowel movement she should be fine to be alone. If though she hasn't done any of the above take or call the vet. She may have picked up an infection. One othe thing when my cat was fixed I used shredded paper not litter for about 4 days after just to be sure that no contaminated litter would get into her stiches. I really hope your cat is fine all the best and good for you for fixing her it's the best thing for all animals and really prevents unwanted litters. Good luck

I have 3 cats and each one was different. One of my cats was fine that evening while the others only took about 48 hours before they were fine.

I would give it a couple days if she seems sore still.... but I think she will let you know when she's comfortable to walk around. Stairs may still be uncomfortable for her so watch out for that.
Good luck with the cat.

Your kitty should be fine walking through the house. Make sure she doesn't run around (doubtful b/c she hurts) and if she wants to jump on the couch, help her. Does the incision look ok? Is she walking around, using the litter box, and eating/drinking? If not, please call the vet.

Should be ok by now as long as she's acting normally. Just make sure that she's not licking or chewing her sutures and check the incision at least once a day for any redness, swelling, discharge, and/or foul odor.

Call your vet if you have any questions.

Cats will determine that for themselves. If it has been a few days and you are concerned because she isn't walking around yet, call your vet and tell him about it.

I'd say she should be ready today to wander around alone. Just make sure she isn't playing too hard or jumping especially high distances.
