I was told by some people that if you practice TAROT / read Tarot cards, the person ends up alone, their marriage breaks up or the single ones just stay single; they never find their love of their lives to marry. Is that true? anyone here who has experienced this or heard this? OR anyone here who IS reading Tarot cards but is happily married?
please help me, i was reading TAROT, but have stopped since i heard this...
:-(

I read tarot cards professionally and I've also been married for almost 20 years.

I also know MANY other people who read the cards, who are happily married. I also know many readers who are single.

Really, tarot readers are just like other people. Sometimes our relationships work out, sometimes they don't. Sometimes we find love, sometimes not.

I find it really interesting that you believe the cards could affect a personal relationship when really the cards just tell us what is already there.

I have read Tarot in the past and have moved to Runes since my wife reads Tarot also. We've been together for nine years this month. Her grandmother taught her Tarot and was married till death did them part.

So no, whether or not you read Tarot has nothing to do with whether or not you will have a successful marriage or other relationship. Whoever told you that is scared of what you do and thus is trying to get you to stop through fear tactics.

I met my current partner when I was a portrait artist. I was still with him when I changed careers and became an acupressure therapist. i have now been working as a professional tarot reader for over three years and we are still together. It had no affect what so ever on my relationship. I think who ever told you that just wanted to scare you aware from the tarot because of their own beliefs about the cards.

I know people who do tarot and are happily married, or unhappily married, or gettingmarried soon and very happy... tarot makes no difference to a relationship either way.

I heard a funny quote once........

"The #1 cause of divorce= marriage"

hehe

I suppose it would only ruin your love life if your spouse/bf/gf didn't agree with them and thought you were satanic and left you....or.....if you read too much into them and base your entire life on what they tell you... exp. if a card gives you the impression that you'll be miserable the rest of your life if you stay with that person.....so you break up with them....that could be a reason. *shrug*

Ludicrous.

They are not a "doorway" for anything.

They are not responsible for failed relationships or lack of relationships.
